You can vote for the Athlete of the Week from all ongoing MSHSAA sports across Southwest Missouri. There were several individual performances to choose from. Who will get your vote?

You can nominate your favorite Southwest Missouri athlete, including their stats, in an email to News-Leader sports reporter Wyatt Wheeler by 11 p.m. each Sunday. You can also tag him on X at @WyattWheeler_NL with your stats and standout performers.

Nixa soccer standout London Kirk was voted as last week's winner after scoring three goals in a 7-0 win over Carl Junction.

Wyatt Vincent, Nixa baseball - Went 4 for 6 with two home runs, a triple, eight RBI, five runs and three stolen bases in two games between Strafford and Carl Junction.

Jackson Cantwell, Nixa track and field - Broke the sophomore class record in the shot put by two feet with a 74-feet, nine-inch and three-quarter throw.

Gracie Troester, Republic track - Finished first in the two-mile with an 11:13.41 run and second in the mile with a 5:04.92 finish in the Class 5, District 6 postseason event at Nixa.

Jordan Jung, Marshfield track - Ran the 100-meter dash in 12.2 seconds to finish first at the Class 4, District 6 postseason event at Nixa.

Makena Hall, Aurora track - Won the pole vault at the Class 3, District 3 postseason event with a vault of 3.35 meters in Mountain Grove.
