About the Cottage

The house is of the Italianate style that was popular in Natchez from 1870 - 1890, and was built to house the caretaker of the city cemetery. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. In 2006, Sunrise Cottage received an award from the Historic Natchez Foundation for the excellence of its restoration.

2 bedrooms, plus a full kitchen, living room, and dining room.

You'll enjoy the quiet of the neighborhood, yet the cottage is only one mile from the center of downtown Natchez. A short walk to the back of the property brings guests to the deck and a spectacular river view.

Rates and Info

Cost per night, $175 plus tax to rent the entire cottage using one bedroom (1-2 guests). $235 plus tax to rent the cottage using both bedrooms(3-4 guests). $50 per night per additional guest (maximum of three additional guests).

Rates do not include tax.

Reservations are encouraged.
Two night minimum stay on weekends.
A $50 charge will be applied to cancellations not received at least 72 hours in advance of scheduled arrival.
In the event of a no-show without prior notification, the full rate for one day will be charged.
We welcome young people, ages 12 and over.
Absolutely no pets. No exceptions.
Smoking is permitted only on the front porch and the back patio.
